WILL THE CEREMONY BE OUTSIDE?

Yes. In an ideal world, we could promise you gorgeous Italian sun and clear blue skies but Europe just doesn't work this way so keep an eye on the forecast and dress for the weather AND the temperature!

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

We kindly ask that your children do not attend any of the events.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

We kindly ask that there are no phones & cameras during our wedding ceremony. Don't worry, we have a photographer so there'll be plenty of photos to share with you after the big day! For all other events and parts of our wedding day, you are more than welcome to use your phone.

WILL THERE BE VEGETARIAN OPTIONS?

Yes, we will ensure that all dietary requirements are catered for but we do need your help on this. When completing your RSVP, please make sure you provide us with details of the requirements or allergies in your party so that our chef can provide you with a suitable alternative.

DO YOU HAVE A CONCIERGE SERVICE?

DO YOU HAVE A DRESS CODE?

For our Wedding Day, the dress code is black tie optional.
If you're interested in renting your tuxedo in Italy, or simply don't want to carry your own around with you whilst you travel, we have included a couple of locations in Florence that can accommodate tuxedo rentals. Please keep in mind that some rental companies will operate on an appointment only basis so be sure to reach out prior to travelling.

Where will you be staying?

ACCOMMODATION

Villa Petriolo

Our wedding venue is hosting up to 42 rooms for our loved ones to book and stay in during your time with us. The rooms will be available for 3 nights from Friday 30 August 2024 - Monday 02 September 2024. If you're planning on staying for all three nights we would prefer you book with us at Villa Petriolo.

Bookings must be made before 29 February 2024 and you should quote 'Catherine and Connor' at the time of booking. You can book via email at reservation@villapetriolotuscany.com.

Capacity at Villa Petriolo is limited so book as soon as you can! Rooms start at ~$300 per night, for more affordable options please look at Agriturismo Musignano.

Agriturismo Musignano

We have reserved four rooms, two 3-person apartments and three 4-person apartments at this location and recommend that guests who aren't staying at Villa Petriolo, book here instead. Rooms start at ~$90 per night.

Transportation from this hotel to Villa Petriolo will be provided throughout the weekend. Details of which will be confirmed once we have a full list of guests staying here.

As Villa Petriolo is located in a secluded and quiet area of Tuscany, most hotels are around a 20 - 30 minute journey away. TRAVEL

Travel Tips

Villa Petriolo is equidistant from Pisa and Florence airports (~35 mins). From the US, most direct flights to Italy fly into Rome. From Rome you can either drive to the Villa (~ 4 hours) or you can take the train to Florence (~1 hour 30 mins). We will be organizing transport on Friday from Florence to the Villa should you not want to rent a car, though we recommend a car since its the best way to explore Tuscany! Details and organization of transport to and from the airport will be arranged closer to the wedding date.

If you're looking to drive in Tuscany, which is what we recommend, you will need either an Italian driver's license or a license issued by a European Union country. Without these, you will need to get an International Driving Permit. Once you're in Italy, it's likely that rental companies will ask for both your US license and your International Driving Permit so make sure you bring both!
